Call For Abstracts Is Now Closed!
- All abstracts for ACP-i Conference 2023 must be submitted online only through ACP-i Conference 2023 website www.acp-i2023.org abstract submission portal. Abstracts submitted by e-mail, post or fax will not be accepted.
- You have to create an account before you can submit your abstract.
- The first author should be the person submitting the abstract.
- All abstracts must be submitted by the deadline of Sunday, 15 January 2023, 1800h SGT.
- Presentation of accepted abstracts: Submissions which are accepted will be for either Oral or Poster Presentations.
- Oral Presentations:
- Abstracts which are accepted as oral presentation will need to be presented in person
- Poster Presentations:
- All abstracts accepted for poster presentation will be in the form of e-posters and/or physical posters.
- These e-posters will be published on the virtual conference website
- Some e-posters and physical posters will be selected for presentation to judging panel for “Best Poster Award”.
- Authors whose abstracts are selected for poster presentations and who are attending the conference in person may be invited to submit a physical poster of A1 size for poster village tour
- Oral Presentations:
- Abstracts of diverse categories may be considered for submission. Besides research works, abstracts of other categories relevant to ACP, such as quality improvement and innovative approaches will be considered.
- Conference participants who intend to attend virtually may still submit abstracts under poster category. Selected posters are eligible for e-poster competition.
- Decision from Abstract Committee is final with regards to acceptance, mode and category of presentation.
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
- Each first author is only allowed up to 3 abstract submissions.
- The first author may submit an abstract which has been presented at one other conference of any other scientific organization prior to ACP-i Conference 2023. However, please indicate where the abstract has been presented.
- With submission of an abstract, and on behalf of him/herself and all co-authors, the first author undertakes to:
- Release full copyright to ACP-i and give full consent for the abstract, if accepted, to be published in ACP-i Conference 2023 Abstract book in printed and/or electronic format, and published online on ACP-i conference and selected medical journal websites, and other relevant promotion or public relation activities.
- Ensure that he/she is an investigator with substantial involvement in the study presented in the abstract.
- Accept responsibility for the accuracy and confidentiality of the submitted abstract, and make reasonable efforts to ensure anonymity of patients discussed in the abstract.
- Be the point of correspondence in all matters relating to the abstract and keep co-authors duly informed of its status
- Be the Presenting Author of his/her abstract in the official ACP-i Conference 2023 if it is selected for presentation for oral or e-poster. The first author may nominate a co-author to present an abstract on his/her behalf provided that the substitute presenter is also registered for the conference. The name of the substitute presenter must be submitted via email to the Scientific Committee of ACP-i Conference 2023 (ACP-i2023-program@icsevents.com)
- Take full responsibility in proof-reading and submission of a correct abstract. Any error in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be reproduced as submitted by the first author.
- Acknowledge that no further edit is allowed once the abstract submission is complete. However, abstract not submitted but saved as draft will still be allowed for edit.
- Abstract Receipt Confirmation
- All communications will be sent to the email address used to submit the abstract.
- Upon successful submission, authors will receive an automated acknowledgement via email.
- Your abstract is not successfully submitted until you receive a confirmation email after clicking the final submit button.
- If you do not receive any acknowledgement email after submission of your abstract, please check your spam mailbox or contact us at ACP-i2023-program@icsevents.com.
- Abstracts must be received by Sunday, 15 January 2023, 1800h SGT.
- Abstracts received after this deadline will not be accepted.
- Notification of Acceptance
- The first author of each accepted abstract will be notified by email.
- The notification will be sent out by 9 February 2023.
- The accepted abstracts may be listed on the “Abstract Page” of ACP-i Conference 2023 website after your log-in.
- If the abstract is accepted, the Presenting Author must acknowledge the abstract acceptance by 15 February 2023 and register for the conference before 28 February 2023, failing which the abstract will be withdrawn.
- Withdrawal of Abstracts
If the first author wishes to withdraw his/her abstract from ACP-i Conference 2023 after acceptance notification has been made available, he/she must submit a request via email to ACP-i2023-program@icsevents.com within forty-eight (48) hours. Any withdrawal requests made after 48 hours cannot be guaranteed of removal from ACP-i Conference 2023 Abstract Book. - Correction of Accepted Abstracts
Correction of accepted abstracts, including author strings, will be possible if the request is submitted via email to ACP-i2023-program@icsevents.com within forty-eight (48) hours from acceptance notification. No changes will be possible after this date unless requested by ACP-i.
- All section of the online abstract submission system must be completed. Authors who fail to provide all information required will not have their abstract considered by ACP-i Conference 2023 Scientific Committee.
- All abstracts should be formatted to include the following four sections:
- Background: A brief introduction indicating the purpose of the study
- Methods: A description of pertinent methodological procedures
- Results: A summary of the results of the research
- Conclusion: A statement of the main conclusions
- The title of the abstract should include significant words which reflect the content of the abstract. Capitalize the first letter of all major words in the title as well as articles and conjunctions of four letters or more. Do not use abbreviations in the title. Do not end the title with a period. The word limit of the title is 20 words.
- The total word count of each abstract should be no more than 300 words.
- Graphs are not permitted. You are allowed to include one illustration and one brief and clear table. Words in the table will be included in abstract word count.
- The maximum number of authors allowed per abstract is eight.
- When using non-standard abbreviations, spell them out in full the first time they appear in the text followed by the abbreviations in parentheses. Capitalize the first letter of trade names. Do NOT enter author or affiliation information in the abstract text box.
- The names of all listed authors will be published in the order provided during submission. Changes may be requested within forty-eight (48) hours of acceptance notification to ACP-i2023-program@icsevents.com. Any requests for changes to the author string made after this will not be accepted.
- Authors must choose the appropriate abstract submission category. However, the ACP-i Conference 2023 Scientific Committee reserves the right to re-categorise abstracts without further recourse to the authors.
- The decision of the choice of presentation (Oral or Poster) by the ACP-i Conference 2023 Scientific Committee will be final.
- The ACP-i Conference 2023 Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject abstracts which are presented in poor English or to request an immediate revision by the first author.

All submitted abstracts will go through a blind peer-review process by independent reviewers and the final selection of abstracts will be done by the Abstract Committee. Successful abstracts will be accepted as oral or poster presentation.
The following criteria are graded based on:
- Relevance
- Novelty and innovative nature
- Organisation, clarity and conciseness of abstract
- Scientific content
- Applicability to Practice, Policy & Sustainability
Submission Method and Deadline
- All abstracts for ACP-i Conference 2023 must be submitted online only through ACP-i Conference 2023 website www.acp-i2023.org abstract submission portal. Abstracts submitted by e-mail, post or fax will not be accepted.
